Busy

1 Unless the LORD builds the house, its builders labor in vain. Unless the LORD watches over the city, the watchmen stand guard in vain.
2 In vain you rise early and stay up late, toiling for food to eat— for he grants sleep to those he loves. Psalms 127:1-2
We tend to spend a lot of our time toiling and worrying over getting the next big task completed. How much do we sacrifice everyday just to climb another mountain? Then, when we get there, we simply start climbing another one. There is nothing we can set out to do in this world that is worth doing unless the Lord is in it with us. Likewise, if the Lord is in it with us, then we don't have to work ourselves to death trying to make it happen. Everything we do in this life is done in vain without the Lord. With the Lord, there is no need for us to keep doing His part. "For He grants sleep to those He loves"....rest in the Lord, give Him your tasks and know He has it all under control. Let your mind rest. Let your body rest. Do only what the Lord asks of you in this life and leave the rest to Him. He will never ask you to do too much or too little. He will never leave a task that He has blessed incomplete. Trust Him in all His wisdom and all His ways to do everything that needs to be done in His timing and forget about everything else.
