Rejoice!

"At that time, this song will be sung in the country of Judah:
We have a strong city, Salvation City,
built and fortified with salvation.
Throw wide the gates
so good and true people can enter.
People with their minds set on you,
you keep completely whole,
Steady on their feet,
because they keep at it and don't quit.
Depend on God and keep at it
because in the Lord God you have a sure thing."
Isaiah 26:1-4 Message Bible

"The path of right-living people is level.
The Leveler evens the road for the right-living.
We're in no hurry, God. We're content to linger
in the path sign-posted with your decisions.
Who you are and what you've done
are all we'll ever want.
Through the night my soul longs for you.
Deep from within me my spirit reaches out to you."
Isaiah 26:7-9 Message Bible

"But friends, your dead will live,
your corpses will get to their feet.
All you dead and buried,
wake up! Sing!
Your dew is morning dew
catching the first rays of sun,
The earth bursting with life,
giving birth to the dead."
Isaiah 26:19 Message Bible

In Isaiah 26, Isaiah is sharing his visions of the last days, the coming of the Messiah, and the ultimate victory of good over evil.

Nothing this world has ever offered will have a lasting effect on you. Not in life---nor after death---will this world be able to console you for any length of time. Only things from God will change your life and determine your destiny for all eternity. Only God can offer true peace.

Let's rejoice this morning! Christians, we win either way! Stay strong in your fight! Live a righteous life! Stay close to Him even when the world falls away. He will always bring you peace in times of trouble. He will make your path straight when everyone around you is walking on treacherous terrain. He will take care of those who are faithful to Him. In the midst of everything that may be going on in your life, His hand will steady you. He always does.

Remember, one day He is coming back and all that was wrong will be corrected! One day, we will join together as one. As the Church, His bride, we will all be a part of that miraculous day and will dwell with our Lord forever!

Fellow Christians, let's join in celebration this a.m.! Share the Good News! Let young and old turn to Jesus---fling wide you heavenly gates!!
