"Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations."
( Jeremiah 1:5)
In this verse, the Lord is speaking to Jeremiah and telling him he has been chosen to be a prophet. God knew he would call Jeremiah for this job at this time before he was ever born.
Sometimes, it's easy to feel that you have fallen off of God's radar. You may think He doesn't see you waiting on the sidelines, waiting for your assignment. Yet, that's not true. God knew you before you were ever born. He has a plan for you, and in due time, He will reveal it to you. Meanwhile, the best thing we can do while waiting is to prepare ourselves through Bible study and prayer.
Be patient, God has a plan for you!
